Install steps
- Click Download for Windows. You'll get
matata-x.x.x-setup.exedirectly fromfame.proxaslab.com. - Run the installer. Windows SmartScreen may warn about an unrecognised publisher the first time — click More info → Run anyway. The installer is signed but a brand-new certificate takes time to build SmartScreen reputation.
- Pick an install folder, click Install. ~10 seconds.
- Optional: install the browser extension to intercept downloads from Chrome / Edge / Firefox.
Install on Android
- Tap Download for Android (APK) above — you'll get
the Proxa APK directly from
fame.proxaslab.com. - Open the downloaded file. Android asks you to allow "Install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager the first time — grant it once (Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps).
- Tap Install. After that the app updates itself: it checks for a new version and offers it in Settings → Install update when one is published.
Not on the Play Store yet — the APK is signed and downloaded directly from this site.

Verify the download
Every release publishes a SHA-256 checksum. To verify integrity, compute the hash of your downloaded file and compare it against the checksum published with the release:
certutil -hashfile matata-x.x.x-setup.exe SHA256
Older versions / portable
Every published version stays available at its versioned path —
for example fame.proxaslab.com/v0.9.9.49/matata-0.9.9.49-setup.exe.
Use that if you need to pin a specific release.

Reproducible build: build.bat on Windows + MSVC 2022.
🧪 Pre-release
Beta builds appear under v0.x.x paths in the same place; no auto-update.
Update channel
Fame idm checks for updates only when you ask it to (Help → Check for updates). The check sends nothing but a version query — no analytics, no telemetry. Details in the privacy policy.
Uninstall
Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Fame idm → Uninstall. Step-by-step in data-deletion, including how to wipe the leftover registry preferences.
